La Marina Costa Blanca is situated approximately 20 minutes drive from Alicante Airport,10 minutes drive from Guardamar, 20 minutes drive from Torrevieja and a 5 minutes drive from the Blue Flag beaches, of La Marina.

La Marina has a well developed urbanization (urbanisation) with many different nationalities residing. 

Local amenities include several banks, three public swimming pools, snooker club, bowling club, several supermarkets, national health doctor, Heath Centre, private clinic, pharmacy, several newsagents and plenty of bars and restaurants (Spanish, English, Italian, Chinese, Indian and German cuisine). There is a twice weekly market in La Marina on Thursdays and Sundays, and also a bus service to local towns and other markets, as well as to the beaches in the summer.

The beautiful Blue Flag sandy beaches of La Marina offer safe bathing and are approximately 5km long. Eating out is varied and inexpensive.

For golf lovers, the closest course to La Marina is La Marquesa situated at Rojales about 5 miles away. La Finca 12 minutes, Las Ramblas, and Villamartin, a championship golf course, are within a 25 minutes drive. The famous golf courses at La Manga are approximately 55 minutes drive away.
